Annual Membership $10
Our membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. Your Annual Membership gives you:
- access to ticket purchases for all our screenings
- email reminders of film nights
- the opportunity to vote and volunteer
Memberships will be valid from September 1, 2022 until August 31, 2023
You can pay for a membership with cash at any screening. Or you can buy online and pick up your membership card at the first film you attend. Members must show membership cards for admission.
Note that our films start promptly. Please allow time if you are purchasing a membership at the door.
Sustaining Members (formerly Friends of the Film Society) $120
Pay once and don’t pay again all year! A sustaining membership entitles you to all member benefits plus free admission to all films.

SCFS and Consumer Protection BC
The Sunshine Coast Film Society is responsible for operating in compliance with the Motion Picture Act and Consumer Protection BC.
To attend a Sunshine Coast Film Society film screening (which may not have been classified by Consumer Protection BC), you must be a Sunshine Coast Film Society member.
Membership is by annual subscription and is limited to persons who are 18 years of age or over.
Only members are permitted to be present at the place where a non-classified film is being exhibited.
The Sunshine Coast Film Society’s mandate is the encouragement and appreciation of motion pictures as a medium of art, information or education.
